6th Nottinghamshire History and Archaeology Festival

  • 20 July 2019 12-4pm

Now in its 6th year this hugely successful regional festival and celebration will be displaying the wide and varied work taking place throughout Nottinghamshire by local history and archaeology societies, archaeological units, museums and other regional archaeological organisations. Why not try your hand at coin striking, handling real artefacts, or even have your objects examined by local Finds Liaison Officers? You can also hear storytellers and musicians recount old tales and see exciting medieval entertainers.

The day is suitable for everyone including those with a general interest, people taking part in historical and archaeological work and anyone wanting to escape into the past for a day!
