The second Kilburn Youth Film Festival will take place on March 28 2009.

Offering screenings and talks led by industry experts from across the UK, the festival at Granville Plus Youth Arts Centre will feature a workshop with Batman Begins storyboard artist Douglas Ingrams and a solar-powered cinema in Kilburn’s Grange Park this year.

Planning Committee member Daniel Basu, 22, said the festival aimed to “excite, educate and inspire.” "We know there are a lot of talented young people in the borough who are interested in film,” he said. “The festival is about getting them excited about film and expanding their knowledge and interest.”

The Centre is run by Brent Youth Service as an activities hub for young people aged between 12 and 25.

Runs 1pm-7pm, Granville Plus Youth Arts Centre, Granville Road, Kilburn, London. Additional screenings in Grange Park, Kilburn, 12pm-2pm. Admission free. Call 020 7604 4520 or visit
