Culture24 can reveal the shortlist for the Connect10 competition, matching artists with heritage and arts venues for Museums at Night events during May 2014.

The artists have made their choices and a public vote will have the final say on where the likes of Rankin, Grayson Perry, Amy Sharrocks and Mr Smith’s Letterpress go.

This year the inspiring range of hopeful venues takes in galleries, archives, museums, castles, halls and even an allotment. And from Hastings to Carlisle and Berwick to Bath, the nominees will be counting on vociferous local support.

“We’ve got a great range of venues taking part in Connect10 this year,” says Culture24 Campaign Manager Nick Stockman.

“Everyone on the Museums at Night team is really looking forward to seeing which ones emerge as the winners at the end of January.”

Museums at Night takes place between Thursday May 15 and Saturday May 17 2014.
