MOLA Academy for Archaeological Specialist Training (MAAST): Understanding Archaeological Artefacts

MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology) is looking for 15 lucky people to join their first ever FREE specialist-led archaeology training programme – MOLA Academy for Archaeological Specialist Training (MAAST): Understanding Archaeological Artefacts – from September.

The 22 week programme is a chance for people outside of the professional archaeological community to:
• Learn from internationally renowned MOLA experts how to identify and record a wide range of archaeological find types in hands-on sessions
• Receive masterclasses from MOLA’s archaeology photographers and illustrators
• Contribute to a research publication
• Take part in a CIfA (Chartered Institute for Archaeology) accredited programme

Sessions will take place every Thursday from 16.30 - 18.30 between the following dates:
Term 1: 27 September - 6 December 2018
Term 2: 10 January - 21 March 2019
