Zap Art an independent charity and has been one of the UK’s leading creative producers of large scale outdoor work and spectacle events for 3 decades. In 2012 Zap was appointed as one of 5 central London producers for 'Showtime': London 2012 cultural Olympic celebrations. Zap is internationally renowned for introducing powerful arts experiences to new audiences, creating cultural exchanges with big impact, to bring alive unusual spaces and reinvigorate communities.

Home Fires is a new arts heritage / oral history project and site specific play, written and conceived by award winning, Lewes based writer Sara Clifford, directed by Terry O'Donovan, produced by Veronica Stephens for Zap Art and Sara Clifford for Inroads Productions. Artistic collaborators include video projection artists, Shared Space and Light, and sound designer Thor McIntyre Burnie. Home Fires offers a range of educational and creative learning workshops free to schools and the public between Nov 2014-March 2015.
