Wychcraft Furniture

Established in 1993, we are a small furniture company based in the North East of England that specialise in bespoke furniture created using Canadian Redwood. Each piece is designed by an experienced cabinet maker using traditional methods.
Our extensive range is based around Victorian, Edwardian and Gothic styles and includes traditional and contemporary designs.

In an ever changing world, the environment and nature is something that we care deeply about at Wychcraft Furniture Company, and with this in mind, the vast majority of our materials are reclaimed. The wood we use is of the highest quality and is sourced from buildings that are about to be demolished.

Canadian Redwoods are famously the world’s tallest trees and can grow up to heights of around 360 feet. The Timber was originally used in roofs because of its structural properties and has naturally seasoned during the lifetime of the building.

By using reclaimed wood we hope new trees may have the chance to grow old, and old timber is given a new lease of life. In buying reclaimed wood furniture, you are not only acquiring a beautiful addition to your home, but also making an excellent environmental choice and helping to save the world’s forest resources and the UK’s landfill.
