Burslem Park

Burslem Park first opened in 1894 to much local acclaim. This Victorian park is now being restored to its former glory, with work due for completion in summer 2012.
This work is generously supported by £2m from the Heritage Lottery Fund and Big Lottery Fund through their Parks for People programme. This breakthrough funding has been achieved with the steadfast support of the Burslem Park Partnership, a local voluntary group that works tirelessly to improve the park.
Facilities and services include sports courts, children's playground, a new wildlife and habitat area, cafe (opening 2012), plus events, volunteering and education programmes.
