Norwich Puppet Theatre was founded in 1980 and is one of only two dedicated puppet theatres in England. It is based in the purpose converted Grade 1 listed Medieval Church of St James. The Theatre offers a year round programme of family centred performances and puppet making workshops, and has an extensive collection of puppets made and used at the Theatre since its foundation. The shop/cafe sells soft drinks, icecreams and sweets plus puppet related gifts.
