Minibeasts and Muddy Hands!

Visit the Castle and grounds this half term to get up close with nature. Pick up a backpack or trail to explore the creatures, plants and trees found around the Castle site. Have a go at craft activities in the museum, or visit our activities room and dress up.

Take home a planting pack to start your own growing or a craft box to create bug boxes and art inspired by the natural world.

King's Tower, Knaresborough Castle

Civil War in Knaresborough

  • 8 July 2018 11am-4pm

A spectacular experience from the days of the English Civil War, as re-enactors from the Sir Thomas Glemham's Regiment of the Sealed Knot Society create a living history village with cameos of l17th century life. Let us transport you back to a time when the sights and sounds of cannon, musket and pike drills and firing guns filled the Knaresborough air.
