Open Air Theatre: Pride and Prejudice

Take a step back in time with Chapterhouse Theatre Company to meet Elizabeth Bennet, Jane Austen's most loveable heroine. When Elizabeth meets the rude and abrupt Mr Darcy, she loathes him at first sight. But is there more to him than meets the eye?

Bring a picnic and your own seating, the performance will take place whatever the weather, doors open from 6.30pm.

Civil War in Knaresborough

A spectacular experience from the days of the English Civil War, as re-enactors from the Sir Thomas Glemham's Regiment of the Sealed Knot Society create a living history village with cameos of l17th century life. Let us transport you back to a time when the sights and sounds of cannon, musket and pike drills and firing guns filled the Knaresborough air.
