A great day out for all the family. Discover the stories of North Lincolnshire through many interactive exhibits – become a nature detective in Go Wild, step back in time in the Victorian ironstone cottage and relive the Peoples’ War. Climb the stairs to delight in the treasures of our archaeology gallery and the award winning temporary exhibitions.

The museum Education Service based here but operate workshops across all North Lincolnshire Museum venues.

Night at the Museum

Enjoy a medieval museum at night experience. Take part in free object handling and free medieval trails. Look out for our very own Knight as he comes to life in the Museum. Make and take home medieval crafts.

Normanby Park Auxiliary Hospital

  • 11 September 2014 6-7:30pm

Madeleine Grout, Collections Assistant (Decorative Arts), uses photographs to illustrate life for recovering soldiers at Normanby Hall between 1914 and 1919. Discover the stories of the patients, nurses, staff and family and hear how this event affected the local area.

Heritage Open Days 2014: First World War

Come along to our free family fun afternoon, and learn about North Lincolnshire's First
World War history. Take part in object handling and make and take crafts.
