A great day out for all the family. Discover the stories of North Lincolnshire through many interactive exhibits – become a nature detective in Go Wild, step back in time in the Victorian ironstone cottage and relive the Peoples’ War. Climb the stairs to delight in the treasures of our archaeology gallery and the award winning temporary exhibitions.

The museum Education Service based here but operate workshops across all North Lincolnshire Museum venues.

Yarrrgh! Ye be a mighty fine pirate this Halloween at the North Lincolnshire Museum

  • 30 October 2015 5-8pm

Step on board the spooky pirate ship for a barrel full of fiendish fun. Wander through the dark galleys to find creepy crawlies for handling or take part in our Pirate treasure trail with big loot to be won. Learn how to speak like a pirate while getting crafty and making your very own pirate costume to take home.

Take part in our competition to win a trick or treat hamper full of goodies by designing your own pirate with spooky name. Bring all completed entries to the Museum by Thursday 29 October to be displayed on the evening.

Supported by the Scunthorpe Little Theatre Club.

Pumpkin Day

Come along to the spooky Museum, enjoy spooky trails and free crafts.

Take part in the annual pumpkin day trail. Drop in event, Suitable for 5 years and over. Last chance to take part in the activities 14:45pm on the day.

Each month's meeting is themed with members taking part in craft activities to investigate archaeology. Workshops are suitable for children aged 7-15 years old.
