A great day out for all the family. Discover the stories of North Lincolnshire through many interactive exhibits – become a nature detective in Go Wild, step back in time in the Victorian ironstone cottage and relive the Peoples’ War. Climb the stairs to delight in the treasures of our archaeology gallery and the award winning temporary exhibitions.

Museum at night

Prepare to step into the spooky Museum, watch out for ghosts, which may follow you around every corner. Free craft activity and trails.

Come along to experience a fantastic living history story. Step inside the Museum’s creepy World War II air raid shelter, Victorian cottage and steel gallery to see who comes to life at North Lincolnshire Museum at night.

Climb the stairs to see many Archaeology objects and experience life as Roman. Learn about gadgets and gizmos of the past and keep a look out for strange sounds and smells as you go.

Take part in glow in the dark activities; object handling and a special night trail quiz for a chance to win prizes.

Free admission, no need to book just turn up. Open to organised children’s parties. Contact the museum for details. Working in partnership with Scunthorpe’s Little Theatre Group. Ideal for 6 years and above.
