Set in beautiful botanical gardens situated within the heart of York, the Yorkshire Museum is a treasure house for all the family. Some of Britain's finest Roman and Viking finds, as well as internationally renowned collections of pottery and fossils, are here to be explored.

The entire collections of this museum are Designated Collections of national importance.

Both these sessions involve an introductory talk in the morning and a guided tour in and around the Museum Gardens in the afternoon. The third session is called York's Gardeners and Botanistsand focuses on gardeners and botanists and their connections with York.
