The ever changing Gallery 6 at Huddersfield Art Gallery promotes a variety of great Yorkshire craft & design, with displays of unique handcrafted jewellery, prints, textiles and ceramics all by Yorkshire makers. All artwork featured in the exhibition is for sale.

A Victorian Miscellany

Presenting a stunning display of Victorian art from the Kirklees Collection, this exhibition will feature works from the Romantics to the Pre-Raphaelites, by artists such as Atkinson Grimshaw and G.F. Watts.

Open House

This exhibition is a new partnership between ROTOR and East Street Arts focusing on the town and its people. Regional artists will engage Huddersfield’s communities in conversation and create new work in response to site, memory and community. The exhibition will combine public display and artist residency, forming a vibrant, working, open-space for dialogue to develop.

Flourish Award

  • 6 August — 15 October 2016

This exhibition will showcase the work of Sumi Perera, winner of the West Yorkshire Print Workshop’s Flourish Award for Excellence in Printmaking in 2015. Perera’s intricate artworks combine traditional printmaking processes with contemporary techniques to create beautiful images that evoke architectural or mapped spaces with stunning precision.
