The art gallery presents an exciting programme of temporary exhibitions throughout the year, featuring the best of art, craft, photography and sculpture from regional, national and international artists.

Yorkshire Makers

The ever changing Gallery 6 at Huddersfield Art Gallery promotes a variety of great Yorkshire craft & design, with displays of unique handcrafted jewellery, prints, textiles and ceramics all by Yorkshire makers. All artwork featured in the exhibition is for sale.

Perspectives: Aspects of the Kirklees Collection

New Light Prize Exhibition

Come and see the best contemporary art being produced in the region in this major new exhibition, which is touring the North of England. We are delighted to host it now at Huddersfield Art Gallery. Open to all artists who were born, studied or reside in the North of England, the biennial New Light Prize Exhibition is the largest open prize dedicated to Northern art.
