The Museum and Art Gallery is set in the beautiful Riversley Park and has three galleries which house regularly changing temporary and touring art exhibitions. We also have galleries devoted to permanent displays of local author George Eliot, local history and our fine art collection.

A Hayward Touring exhibition from Southbank Centre, London - J.D. ‘Okhai Ojeikere: Hairstyles and Headdresses

Showing elaborate sculptural forms of hairstyles, this touring exhibition celebrates the work of Nigerian photographer J.D. ‘Okhai Ojeikere, who died in 2014. Ojeikere is widely regarded as one of the most important photographers to emerge from Africa in the last 60 years.

Art Alert - Where The Mood Takes Us

Where The Mood Takes Us includes a wide variety of artworks in different mediums. The show explores the way in which a viewer can have an emotional response to artwork. To Kunjan, there is fun in the not knowing.

Festival of Arts - ART Section

Nuneaton Festival of Arts is back!
The first section to be shown at the Museum is Art, filling both the Yellow and White Galleries and offering something for everyone. Work is made by adults and children from across the Borough. The show offers a great variety of subjects too! The Art Section includes class categories such as Landscape, Portrait and Fantasy and there will also be work for sale in the show.
