Situated in the historic Stourbridge glass quarter, Broadfield House Glass Museum is one of the best glass museums in the world. It has a magnificent collection of British glass, much of which was made in the Stourbridge area, from 18th century tableware to Victorian cameo vases, historic paperweights to modern sculptural pieces. Permanent displays and temporary exhibitions celebrate the magical art of glassmaking. There is also a glassmaking studio where visitors can watch and wonder at the glassmakers' skills.

Library, archives and store are available to researchers by appointment only. Guided tours for pre-booked groups are available jointly with the Red House Glass Cone.
The history of glass and glassmaking in Britain from the 17th century to present day, in particular the Stourbridge glass industry. The collection includes archival material and equipment, as well as glass objects, focusing on tableware and decorative glass.

Glass Fused Inclusion Tiles
Using pre-cut glass, children and adults can make fantastic fused glass inclusion tiles. Sessions last approximately 30 minutes. Finished pieces will be available for collection at a later date.

Leave your child with us for a safe, fun and creative day. During the day your child will have a go at making and creating lots of different art.
Children will need to bring a packed lunch and a mid-morning snack.
