World class collection of geology.
Art collections include 19th and 20th century oil paintings, drawings and watercolours, as well as modern prints and pictures of local topographical interest.
Also home to the Brooke Robinson colection - a Victorian gentleman's collection of paintings, furniture, Greek and Roman pottery, Oriental and European ceramics, and enamel snuff boxes.

Saturday 25 July: FREE Family Film Club, My Little Pony
A new experience for all the family. Watch the film in our Museum. This months film complements our wonderful exhibition 'My Little Collection', a single collection of over 2,000 My Little Ponies. Refreshments will be available, please book in advance to reserve your space.

Thursday 30 July: FREE Bugs & Butterflies Family Day
A fun filled day with live insects and dead butterflies! storytelling, a trail and crafts. £2.30 for crafts, suitable from ages 4+

Thursday 20 August: Free Discoverers & Explorers Family Day.
Geology based family day with fun family talk centred around William Smith, the man who drew the first geological map of the UK. Trails, stories and crafts. £2.30 for crafts, suitable from ages 4+

Saturday 29 August: FREE Family Film Club
A new experience for all the family. This months film is Ice Age 4. Watch the film in our Museum. Refreshments will be available, please book in advance to reserve your space.

A presentation and exercise to illustrate the range of morphologies of the fossil groups.
A discussion about morphology and mode of life.
A selection of impressive specimens from the Museum's collection used together with handouts.

Child with dinosaur at Dudley Museum & Art Gallery



A fun & creative day aimed at KS1 pupils.
Pupils will participate in an interactive talks: How to be a dinosaur and a drama session: Thunderbolts & Snakestones. A variety of other dinosaur related activities complement your visit.
