Housed in a beautiful Victorian building in the heart of Worcester, the City Art Gallery & Museum runs a lively programme of exhibitions, activities and events for all the family.

The gallery presents a changing programme of contemporary art and craft exhibitions. Current displays also include the Spirit of Enterprise tracing the history of Worcester’s industrial past, displays of geology and natural history as well as a selection of 19th and 20th century paintings, prints, and photographs. Visitors can also discover the colourful collections of uniforms, medals and pictures from the independent museums of the Worcestershire Regiment and the Yeomanry Cavalry.

The museum has an activity space and runs a regular programme of art workshops for children and adults, as well as artist led events for schools and adults. Visitors can enjoy a cappuccino or light lunch in the airy surroundings of the balcony cafe or visit the gallery shop which has a superb selection of cards, books and gifts.
