Housed in a beautiful Victorian building in the heart of Worcester, the City Art Gallery & Museum runs a lively programme of exhibitions, activities and events for all the family.

The gallery presents a changing programme of contemporary art and craft exhibitions. Our Museum Gallery showcases an amazing array of objects and displays covering geology and natural history as well as Worcester industries. There is also a selection of 19th and 20th century paintings, prints, and photographs on display. Visitors can discover the colourful collections of uniforms, medals and pictures from the independent museums of the Worcestershire Regiment and the Yeomanry Cavalry.

On the first Monday of each month 11am-3pm, the gallery opens its doors to Steward's Chemist Shop. This store has been dismantled from the High Street and moved piece by piece to the museum.

The museum has an activity space and runs a regular programme of art workshops for children and adults, as well as artist led events for schools and adults. Visitors can enjoy a cappuccino or light lunch in the airy surroundings of the balcony cafe or visit the gallery shop which has a superb selection of cards, books and gifts.
