The facilities at the Royal Pump Rooms also include a Cafe, Library, Tourist Information Centre and multi-purpose Assembly Rooms. Baby-changing facilities available.

Keep Up: New Work by Jacqueline Donachie

This exhibition will include 'Weight', which Leamington Spa Art Gallery & Museum acquired in 2012. The installation which crosses sculpture, drawings and photographs, resonates visually with some of the medical treatments that previously took place in the Royal Pump Rooms.

Sue Andrews

Storytelling Event

Storyteller in Residence for Sandwell, Sue Andrews, will delight audiences of all ages with storytelling on Wednesday 29 October, 12 noon - 3pm. This event is one of many free activities for families to enjoy together at Leamington Spa Art Gallery & Museum.
Sue Andrew's stories will be influenced by the current temporary exhibition Keep Up: New Work by Jacqueline Donachie, exploring themes of family and relationships between siblings. Sue will be writing some original pieces that she will adapt for the audiences and families on the day.
Learning and Engagement Officer Penelope Thomas explains, 'Sue is an accomplished storyteller who has worked with organisations such as the BBC. We are looking forward to her fun filled stories, which promise to entertain and inspire the family audiences that visit Leamington Spa Art Gallery & Museum.'

There will be a number of drop-in storytelling sessions throughout the afternoon.

Memory Map - The People In My Life

Drawing In Stitch Adult Workshop

  • 8 November 2014 11am-4pm

Using the inspiring work of Jacqueline Donachie as a starting point, you will be experimenting with thread to create your own memory maps. This is a day to research, experiment and create. It provides an opportunity to test things out, where you will be supported and inspired.
