Set in a beautiful 90 acre park, Tredegar House is one of the best examples of a 17th century Charles II mansion in Britain. The earliest surviving part of the building dates back to the early 1500s. Visitors can discover what life was like for those who lived above and below stairs by touring the impressive state rooms and the intriguing servants’ quarters.

Opening hours

The Park and Woodland Walk are open all year from 9.00 to dusk.

The House is open from Easter to the end of September, with House tours available from Wed - Sun.

Tours take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, and run hourly from 11.00 until 16.00.

Other events run throughout the year, including Halloween, Christmas, Murder Mysteries, Spooky Tales tours, family history evenings and dance workshops.

Group rates (15% discount for 10 or more)

Camping Adventure!

Team up with the family and take on the 50 Things to do before 11 3/4 challenge together. Come on a camping adventure - bring your own tent and camp out under the stars in our orchard garden. This adventure will start at 18:00 on 26 July and end at 10:00 on 27 July.
