The Neath Museum and Art Gallery is situated at the Gwyn Hall, Orchard Street in the town centre. There are two galleries in the museum. On the ground floor a display of the archaeology and natural history of the Neath area has been constructed. On the first floor gallery there is a small collection of paintings and a series of temporary exhibitions relating to the area around Neath. Come and visit Sebastian, the Roman soldier who will tell you how life was lived in a Neath Roman Fort, or try your hand at grinding corn the stone-age way.
