From CSI to reggae, the UK's museums and galleries have plenty of stuff going on for teenagers over the summer 2010. Most activities are totally free but some may be ticketed and carry a charge. Find out more by clicking on the links.

Choppers and more at Greater Manchester Police Museum & Archives
High in the Sky! Have you seen Greater Manchester Police's helicopter in the sky above Manchester? Officers from the air support unit will be at the museum on July 27, 2010, talking about their roles and showcasing the work they do.

Or how about getting all CSI on August 3, 2010, with Greater Manchester Police Museum & Archives' Forensic Fun where you can meet the GMP forensics team and discover all about fingerprinting and footprints?

The V&A, London turns Rasta
From 6:30pm - 9:30pm on August 20, 2010, teens can hear the beating of sacred drums and immerse themselves in a Dub and Roots Reggae soundtrack in this intergenerational evening entitled Beautiful Beautiful Zion.

Music at Shetland Crofthouse Museum
If music is your thing, you will enjoy A night by the fire at Shetland Crofthouse Museum with storytelling too. From August 9 - 19, 2010.

Ghost walk at Cromer
Meet at Cromer Museum at 7pm on August 12, 2010, for a twilight walk with ghostly tales and legends. Spooky fun!

Who's at Seven Stories? Newcastle and Gateshead
There are great activities and events for teens as well as their younger siblings at Seven Stories this summer, including their 5th Birthday celebrations with Jacqueline Wilson on August 19, 2010. Check out the Doctor Who Day too on August 30, 2010.

Fashion at Kensington Palace, London
For teens into fashion as a spectacle, head to Kensington Palace for their Enchanted Palace late openings. It's every third Friday of the month until August 20, 2010 and features work by contemporary fashion icons such as fashion designer Vivienne Westwood, and milliner Stephen Jones.

Monsters at MoDA
The Museum of Domestic Design & Architecture aka MoDA has Godzilla monster workshops for teenagers over the holidays. You can make a 3D creature and a Godzilla film based on the original 1954 version. A great opportunity for budding filmmakers because you get to sample everything from storyboarding to production design.

Arty at Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum
If art's your thing, then try Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum for its amazing art offers this summer, including its Arts Award Summer School and Art@Museum.
