Forty free places are on offer for the Teachers' Institute professional development programme at the Houses of Parliament in London, from July 4 - 8, 2011.

Billed by a delegate from 2010 as, "A fantastic week of diverse experiences and a once-in-a-lifetime chance to explore Parliament and get to grips with how it really works.", Parliament's Teachers' Institute programme is once again giving teachers the opportunity to spend a week at the Houses of Parliament and experience it at first hand.

The Teachers' Institute programme is totally free of charge, and you will also have the chance to share teaching expertise and knowledge, as well as explore ideas for the classroom.

To find out more or to apply, click on the link to the education section of  the Houses of Parliament website or call the Education Outreach Team on telephone: 0207 219 1134.
