The bursary could be to develop or enrich a museum science workshop, explore a science themed question, or work collaboratively to improve a skill and could cover the following:
· teacher/Museum staff supply cover to enable meetings to take place;
· transport costs and catering for collaborative development meetings;
· developing resources / sustainable output to support future delivery of the Science in Your World offer within the Learning Links partners department.
Museums wishing to take part in a mini learning links grant should complete and return the short application form and return it to Alex McLeman by Monday, December 20, 2010.
This opportunity is open to all North West Museums as well as any non NW museums who have attended a SMILE CPD day this year. The collaborative development meeting must take place before January 31, 2011.
If you're a teacher and interested in getting involved, please contact your local museum to discuss the application.
Please note that the next North West SMILE CPD event will be at Blackburn Museum on Friday, January 14, 2011.
