Studying the Ancient Egyptians? We've put together a quick and easy 'How to make an Ancient Egyptian costume (plus accessories)' for your pupils.

It's on our kids' site Show Me - so totally child-friendly, there's no sewing involved and pupils can use materials from around the house - perfect for busy parents everywhere!

We based our make and do on actual Ancient Egyptian objects from the museum collections of British Museum, Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums and Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery. We've included links to the objects in the feature so that pupils can see the real things and find out more about them.

There are more make and do ideas to try out on the Topic Pages of Show Me.

Good luck with your Ancient Egyptian project - and we'd love to see some photos and feature you. You and your class can get in touch via Show Me.
