We've got some football games for you as quick fillers for the World Cup 2010 month and beyond and have you ever tried football venues and museums' education programmes for their real-life, cross-curricular activities?

Football online games
We know how much kids love online games, so we'd recommend Keepy Uppy from CBBC's Blue Peter and the Girls FC Penalty Shoot-Out Game on the World Book Day website. When you click through to the WBD website, just scroll to the bottom of the games page to find the Shoot-Out game.

Try Show Me for our kid friendly piece with football games to celebrate the World Cup 2010.

Real-life education offers from football venues and museums
We're particularly impressed with Arsenal's cross-curricular education programme. Most clubs have education links to the community and include their museums in their offers.

We also like the Scottish Football Museum's education package and there are downloadable materials too.

Here are some more useful links for you: Liverpool FC Museum and Manchester United Museum.
