MP for a Week is the latest interactive from Parliament Online. MP for a Week aims to help 11-14 year olds understand the work of MPs and Parliament but we think aspects of the resource would be suitable for KS2.

There are different activities to keep pupils engaged: players can take part in debates, vote on new laws, choose witnesses for committee inquiries, respond to lobbyists, ministers and the press and make sure they represent their constituents in Parliament.

More details, including teachers' notes and cross-curricular links can be found on Parliament online.
