We've got such a great mummy and case make and do activity on our kids' site Show Me that we thought you'd want to know about it for your KS2 Ancient Egyptian project.

The activity is in Usborne's book, Egyptian things to make and do by Emily Bone. Usborne have kindly donated five copies of the book to give away to kids who send in their fantastic Ancient Egyptian make and do creations - and details can be found in the Show Me Make an Ancient Egyptian mummy and case feature.

Please refer to our Competition Rules for full details.

In the activity, you'll find a step-by-step guide on how to make both the mummy and case with lots of tips including how long the make and do will take. This is all written in child-friendly text, so the project would work equally well at home as well as in the classroom.

Another bonus is that there are links to other Ancient Egyptian museum resources and Show Me's Ancient Civilisations Topic Page, so that your pupils can find out more about Ancient Egypt and play some fun games too.
