News: The Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust has launched the first training programme of its kind called ADVANCE aimed at young (18-25 year old) entrepreneurs to build practical skills for business and creativity.
Whatever the nature of a participant's new idea or business venture, the skills they will learn will give them a significant competitive advantage.
The programme that has been developed by the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust and funded by Renaissance West Midlands in order to encourage the Creative Industries in the region.
"ADVANCE is an exciting new concept providing a modular, intensive and interactive experience for young people with a good idea for a business or a creative product or service," said Project Manager, Anna Brennand.
"Ironbridge is the natural location to develop such a training programme, as Abraham Darby is world famous for not only starting the Industrial Revolution, but also for being one of the most creative entrepreneurs in history."
