Fleet Air Arm Museum's learning resources are based on recorded memories of conflict in the 20th century. Albums, logbooks and letters were scanned and filed and the Museum interpreted the material collected and produced education packs based on the events. These documents, containing analysis, images, maps and video footage can be downloaded from the website.

You need to register to download the TPYF Fleet Air Arm Museum education packs but it's a very simple process.

The Museum has also created a pack entitled 'How To' to inspire pupils to have a go themselves at collecting reminiscences.

The education packs have been produced as part of Fleet Air Arm Museum's TPYF2 project. TPYF2 stands for Their Past Your Future 2. Launched in 2004, Their Past Your Future is a Big Lottery funded nationwide scheme, administered by the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (MLA). It uses historical sources, sites, museums, veterans and eyewitnesses of war to increase young people's understanding of history, commemoration, national identity and civic participation today.
