News: GV Art’s latest children’s art workshop offer for pupils takes place on May 27 2009.
Here’s a fantastic opportunity for your pupils to sample a combination of live performance and art. Suitable for children from 9 upwards, GV Art’s Children’s Art Workshop comprises of drawing, dance and sculpture.
The workshop accompanies Chasing Shadows, Sally McKay’s latest exhibition at GV Art (May 14 - June 20 2009), which captures the rhythm, energy and split second movement of dance. Picture © GV Art
Pupils will watch a dancer perform, learn how to quickly sketch a moving figure and make their own unique sculpture to take home.
