Launched on March 19 2009, Something Wild…at the Walker Art Gallery follows main characters Keith and Ali around the Gallery as they discover paintings, sculpture and other works of art. The eight accompanying activity cards contain extensive arty ideas including drawing, painting, crafts and more that you can play with the children after their visit.

Aimed at 5-9-year-olds, there are two versions of the book – a larger one is free of charge to primary schools and groups in Liverpool.

National Museums Liverpool's website section, Primary schools and groups, has more details.

If you'd like to get hold of the smaller-sized book, it's for sale at all National Museums Liverpool venues. Visit the Families page for more information on how to order it.

Something Wild...at the Walker Art Gallery has been produced in partnership with Liverpool Childcare and Family Information Service.
