Teaching China is a day’s conference of speakers, discussions and activities for teachers and students on Saturday March 28 2009 at the Graduate School of Education, University of Bristol.

The conference accompanies the British Museum touring exhibition China: Journey to the East.

Part of the day will include a visit to Bristol’s City Museum & Art Gallery to see China: Journey to the East, and Bristol’s Chinese galleries. Bristol’s City Museum & Art Gallery’s Kate Newnham will be speaking as will James Trapp, Learning Officer, the British Museum.

During the day, you can find out about organisations offering support for your teaching about China.

Key speakers on China across the curriculum will come from Bristol University Graduate School of Education, the British Council, the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust Chinese Network and the University of Bristol.
