St Mary's Church, Berkeley, in twilight

Discover Georgian Berkeley

  • 13 May 2016 7-9pm

As part of Museums at Night, we'll be taking you back to Georgian Berkeley in the company of local historian, Peter Yardley. Setting out from The Chantry, a building with a particularly famous Georgian resident, Peter will lead a twilight tour of the historic town of Berkeley, looking at the development of the town in the 1800s and its surprising industrial past.

After the tour, we'll regroup at The Chantry, now Dr Jenner's House, Museum and Garden, for an opportunity to explore the museum after hours and find out how Georgian Berkeley changed the world.
