Please note that the museum's storage facility; the Community Heritage Access Centre at SSDC Lufton Depot, 7 Artillery Road, Lufton, Yeovil, Somerset, BA22 8RP is open by appointment, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm to the public and community groups. There are over 10,000 historical artefacts and 3000 photographs held at this facility. Please use the contact details for the Heritage and Visitor Information Centre to contact us. Includes archaeology from the many Roman Villa sites in South Somerset. Particular strengths of the collection are gloving and the Stiby firearm collection. Items not on display are kept at the Community Heritage Access Centre and can be viewed by appointment.
