The museum houses artefacts illustrating the history of Blandford Forum and the surrounding area.

Our collections include railway memorabilia, artefacts from World War I and II, material from the local fire and police services over the last 200 years, musical instruments, palaeontological finds including a fossil Ichthyosaur, the Durden Collection of archaeological discoveries, a cobbler's shop, a forge, a Victorian child's playroom including a 19th-century dollhouse loved by 4 generations of the same family.
