Spend a moment of your visit to the Dean Forest Railway to look around our interesting museum with its emphasis on artefacts from the former Severn & Wye Joint Railway and associated Great Western & Midland Railways. Well worth a visit to find out how the railway evolved from its opening in 1810 to the present day. The museum also contains an interactive electro-mechanical telephone exchange and scale models.

You are welcome to browse the museum on train running days. You do not need to purchase a travel ticket to visit the shop & museum at Norchard.
