Museum experts of the future are being invited to nurture their talent by embarking on a series of intriguing courses at the University of Leicester.

The Arts, Humanities and Law department at the Midlands institution has announced more than 30 PhD scholarships and Masters courses beginning in September 2010, offering full and part-time programmes under the tutorship of the School of Museum Studies.

Four £12,000 Museum Studies Studentships are up for grabs, ranging from Landscapes, Cultural Politics and Policy to New Technologies and Museum Learning.

There are also two Museum Studies PhD Research Awards worth £6,000 each – Architecture and Design researches the design and purpose of cultural buildings, and Digital Heritage will support the investigation of the way museums use the internet. The latter will be run in partnership with Culture24.

Check out the full list on the department's website.
