Projects and websites:
Culture24 website
Culture24 (www.culture24.org.uk) is one of the leading culture portals in the UK. The new website replaced the 24 Hour Museum in February 2009. The new name and radical new design were informed by nearly ten years of successful online publishing and responded to developments in technology, visitor expectations and the desire to better reflect the cultural landscape represented by the sector.
The site is Culture24’s flagship project, within which we deliver a range of editorial initiatives, campaigns and data sharing partnerships.
Resource discovery for teachers
The Culture24/Teachers' section is an online service for teachers that sits within the new Culture24 site and was built with development funding from DCSF and MLA London. Culture24/Teachers connects teachers with the best of online and real life educational resources offered by museum, galleries, libraries, archives, heritage sites and science centres, including: digital collections, film and videoconferencing, interactives, games and downloadable material.
