Nymans is one of the great gardens of the Sussex Weald and is internationally famous for its beauty and collection of rare plants. It is the achievement of three generations of the Messel family over a period of over a hundred years.

Art Workshop with John Thompson: Bluebell Woods

Join us for a full day of relaxed and informal art making in our Potting shed. Learn easy techniques working with acrylic paints on board (be prepared to get messy), making various marks and building textures. All painting materials provided.

What to bring/wear: Please bring an apron or something you don't mind getting dirty. It can get a little cold in the Potting shed, so we recommend you layer up. You may wish to bring pen and paper for making notes.

Accessibility: The Potting shed is wheelchair accessible via gravelled paths. Accessible toilets are located onsite near the cafe and in the car park.
