Blickling has been at the heart of this north Norfolk community since the sixteenth century. One of the most imposing and complete country estates in Norfolk, it offers you a glimpse into the lives of those who lived and worked above and below stairs.
The estate is a treasure trove of romantic buildings, beautiful gardens, and landscaped park. See the stunning parterre created by socialite Norah Lindsay in the 1930s; or find peace and solitude in the orangery garden or woodland wildernesses. There is something for everyone at any time of the year.

What goes on behind those closed doors?Take a sneaky peek and find out with a small group tour. There's a steep climb to the attics to see where some of the RAF personnel slept during WW11 and where we store items form the Blickling collection not on show. A look through the basements and rooms not on the normal visitor route.
