The gardens reflect Churchill's love of the landscape and nature. They include the lakes he created, the kitchen garden and the Marycot, a playhouse designed for his youngest daughter Mary. The woodland estate offers family walks, trails, den building, forts and the opportunity to stretch your legs and taking in the fabulous views. The Landemare Cafe named after Mrs Georgina Landemare, the Churchill family cook for over 20 years, is a light family friendly space, serving seasonal and locally produced dishes, salads, light bites and our usual delicious cakes. The shop stocks Churchill memorabilia, books, garden ornaments, interesting gifts and has regular tastings of local produce. Visit the plant area, which stocks Chartwell plants.
