Queen Victoria's trusted prime minister Benjamin Disraeli lived here from 1848 until his death in 1881. Most of his pictures, furniture and books remain in this, his private retreat from the rigours of parliamentary life. The garden is a recreation of the colourful design of Disraeli's wife Mary Anne. Beautiful walks through the surrounding park and Chilterns woodland.

Join our Ranger team on a countryside workout for fun and fresh air. Activities vary every month from scrub clearance to coppicing and nature surveys. All ages welcome!

A guided visit to the stables, kitchen garden and manor house using storytelling, costume and artefact handling to compare homes in the past with homes today.
Because of small spaces inside the manor we can welcome up to 30 children per day.
