Colourful Cows
Did you know how many colours and patterns cows can have?
Don’t be put off by the rather tame colours of most cows you see in the fields; come and design your own.
Pink cows, purple cows, punk cows, hippie cows; the only limit is your imagination. So come along, pick up a paintbrush, and give our cows a makeover, and make sure they stand out from the common herd*.
As well as this, you can find Daisy the Cow* as she hides around the museum; you can practise milking a cow*, sitting on a cow*, making a working cow* to take home with you, and you can also learn how to recognise one cow from another (and, more usefully, from a bull!)
(*These cows are not real cows, but our large, fibreglass models. There should be real cows to look at next to the museum, but these are not for painting!)
Suitable for
- Any age
When
12-4pm
Admission
Adults £5.00, Concessions £4.00, Children £3.50 (under 5s are free), Family Ticket £13 with reduced admission to the Farmland Museum for English Heritage members. Season tickets are also available
