The North Norfolk Railway is a working museum, providing an insight into railway transport in East Anglia over the last 130 years or so. Trains run, as per timetable, between Sheringham and Holt, a distance of 5 1/4 miles.

The working collection includes everything on the railway, including locomotives, coaches, wagons, signals and signalboxes, stations and other buildings, right down to the large collection of original signs.

Our collections policy allows us to collect railway items to interpret our railway heritage in East Anglia, especially that of the M&GN Joint Railway.
