Hill Hoath Road
Home to a fascinating collection of Japanese Samurai armour, Buddhist figures, Ancient Egyptian artefacts,Jacobite and Stuart paintings and memorabilia. All were collected by the last owner of the castle, Denys Bower. An eccentric art dealer and collector who believed himself to be the reincarnation of Bonnie Prince Charlie and was imprisoned for the attempted murder of his girlfriend!
Our own upstairs-downstairs experience with a Victorian kitchen, scullery, servants' hall and a servant's bedroom in the attic. Children's activity room with hands on activities.
The estate has 35 acres of grounds complete with a lake, woodland and award- winning orangery.
