Basket Making Weekend Course

  • 26 July 2014 10am-4:30pm

Join Christine Brewster, contemporary basket maker, for this popular 2 day workshop and make your own traditional English willow basket that you can use in the years to come. No previous experience required. All materials included. Tea and coffee provided. Please bring your own lunch.

This course runs over two days 10:00 - 16:30 on Saturday 26th July and 13:00 - 16:00 on the next day.

The Great War Centenary Event

  • 30 August 2014 11am-4pm

Visit the 'recruitment stand' and learn some 'drill' with historical interpreters. Explore the grounds with a periscope. Meet members of the Western Front Association and view a display of personal artefacts and documents, including trench art. Discover more in the Museum's 'World War One Wycombe' exhibition and experience wartime songs and entertainment from The LuLaLas.

Tiny Talk Time


A special time at Wycombe Museum for children aged 0-5 years. Enjoy stories, trails and craft activities inspired by the Museum collection and gardens. Come along on the 2nd and 4th Friday at 10.30-11.30.
