Lowewood Museum

Lowewood Museum is situated in a listed Georgian building and houses an impressive collection of photographs and memorabilia depicting town life in the 19th century, all contributed by the local community.

The museum also provides a free identification service, to inform residents about any unusual item they might own.

Takeover Day

  • 17 November 2017

8 pupils from John Warner School will be preparing activities to deliver to primary school pupils from two different local schools. They activities will be WWI themed to link to a joint project running between the museum and the school. Two of the 8 pupils will also develop a tour for VIPs visiting on the day
