An Accredited Museum run by volunteers is in the railway station and is packed with displays, useful information about local families and local history and award winning archaeology and geology displays. Alongside the building are unique moveable platforms, pop into the museum and press the button the working model. Children will enjoy the model, a fossil handling tray and the chance to do their own brass rubbing.
