Haverhill Local History Centre is a resource and study centre for Haverhill and surrounding villages.

Haverhill has a long history; it is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, and there have been archaelogical finds in the area dating from the Stone and Bronze ages.
The town prospered during Victorian times with steam powered looms at the Gurteen factory and the coming of the railway.
