The Fleur de Lis Heritage Centre comprises three adjoining grade II listed buildings in Preston Street right in the centre of Faversham.

The Heritage Centre, or the Fleur, as it is affectionately known, is owned and voluntarily run by the Faversham Society and offers many facilities for the visitor and locals alike.

Frontline Kent

Faversham in the First World War 1914

This is the first in a series of annual exhibitions focusing on the effect of the First World War on Faversham and the surrounding area. Each year will focus on the centenary of aspects of the war which particularly relate to Faversham, such as the Great Explosion in 1916 and the establishment of Throwley Airfield in 1917. A Saturday morning
lecture will be given in 2014, organized by Faversham Courses and Jaunts (date to be announced) and there will be films shown during September and October, with discussions afterwards. The lecture fee is £20, including lunch
the exhibition and film shows are free of charge, though donations atre always welcome.
